What is microblading?
Microblading is a form of tattooing done with a manual tool that delicately implants pigment using many tiny needles in the shape of a small blade into the skin to simulate the appearance of natural hair.
What is Ombre/ shading/powder brow?
This method is also a form of tattooing. It can be done using a manual tool... more commonly done using a rotary machine that implants more pigment into the skin...usually being lighter in front of brow and then becoming darker at arch to tails. It can be buildable from light to dark. This style mimics powder makeup.
What is COMBINATION brow/microblading plus shading?
This technique us a combination of microblading and the powder brow. This method can be done in many ways (manual or machine)...usually using both. It can be buildable as well. Usually the microblading is done in front of brows and gradually getting darker with shading up to arch and down to the tail of eyebrow.
Aftercare for permanent makeup
(mibroblading, Ombre/powder/combination
Normal to dry skin
Wash eyebrows morning and night only using Castile soap...using a clean cotton pad. Mix soap with a little warm water and lightly rub eyebrow. using another clean cotton pad with ONLY water wipe off soap. This is done for 10 days. Do not get them wet anyother way for those 10 days. Do not apply makeup directly to eyebrows for 10 days as well. If they get very dry coconut oil can be applied after 3rd day.
oily skin
Wash eyebrows using a clean cotton pad and witch hazel only...no more than 4 times a day for 14 days. Do not get them wet at all. Do not apply makeup directly to brows until after 14 days.
Combination skin
The healing for combo skin could be either aftercare...or both. It can be determined during appointment.
important!
In the first two weeks after treatment avoid swimming pools,sun bathing,tanning beds (no sun for 30 days) Sauna, beauty treatments and intense training accompanied by sweating (sport activities) contact with dirt and dust.
important!! (when to have permanent makeup done? after or before a cosmetic
It is best to wait 2 WEEKS before getting microblading done after getting botox injections. (However it is recommended to have your botox treatments after your permanent makeup has been done. Two months after ...preferably after complimentary enhancement has been done as well. That way your botox injector will keep your new brows into consideration.
Consultations are needed if eyebrows have been previously done by another artist.
